The story behind a good bottle of wine begins when you discover our wine shop.
Selecting a bottle of wine can be intimidating! That’s why we are here to talk you through it. Not only do we sell interesting wine, but we also promote environmentally friendly products (organic, sustainable, biodynamic, etc.), boutique producers, and women-owned wineries. Our goal is to make our customers feel good about shopping with us!
About the Owner. Diana Effio is originally from Panama City, Panama, and came to the U.S. to pursue an undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering. She worked for several years as a consultant for a global engineering corporation and also obtained a Master of Public Health. About five years ago she began to study wine and to work as a consultant for a wine importer and distributor. It was through this work that she was inspired to open a wine shop that would showcase quality imported wines typically hidden from view in the U.S. market. This project also allowed Diana to merge her other passion, environmental protection, in promoting wineries that incorporate eco-friendly practices into their winemaking processes.
